Fodnote:Sir Ken Robinson earned a PhD from the University of London in 1981. Between 1985 and 1989, he led the The Arts in Schools Project—which aimed to improve the teaching of the arts. In 1998, he was appointed by the British government to chair the National Advisory Committee on Creative and Cultural Education. He was knighted in June 2003 by Queen Elizabeth II for his achievements in creativity, education and the arts.
